What role does Office of the State Treasurer play?

The Wisconsin State Treasurer's office actually has over 16 Constitutional and statutory duties.
For example, the Treasurer's signature is on every check sent out by the State of Wisconsin- over 3 million every year! Our State Treasurer also serves as the treasurer for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board and the Employee Trust Funds.
The Treasurer's office has significant, critical responsibilities to ensure the financial integrity and transparency of our state. Treasurer Godlewski is working every day to serve you and ensure that this office fulfills its duties that have been neglected in recent years.
Where is the Treasurer's Office located?
Our office, B38 W, is located in the basement of the State Capitol next to the Secretary of State's office. You can find us by getting in the elevator on the west wing, on the ground floor of the capitol, and taking it to the basement.
Our door is open to visitors, so please stop by!

How can I contact the State Treasurer's Office?
You can reach the State Treasurer by visiting our office, giving us a call, or sending an email. Please share your comments, questions, or issues. We look forward to serving you!
